Precision Building Systems was established in 1996 by brothers William F. Clous and Ronald F. Clous, both being involved in residential and commercial construction since 1976. As qualified framers became increasingly scarce and technology improved, the Clous brothers recognized a wall panel plant would present a great time savings opportunity, and provide a way to build better apartments, condominiums, office buildings, motels and single family homes in Michigan and throughout the Midwest.
After considerable research into production components, software and other wall panelization technology, a design for wall panel facility emerged that offered huge advantages in time utilization, raw product usage and end product quality. In the fall of 1995, a 12,000 square foot plant was built in Traverse City, Michigan, with operations beginning in January 1996.
Within the first 6 months, success was so great that it became apparent that larger facility was needed. While improving the wall panel process, plans for a new site were drafted and in the spring of 1999, Precision Building Systems began production out of its new 22,833 square foot facility in Buckley, Michigan. This new state-of-the-art facility was designed specifically for wall panelization and features technology not found anywhere else in the state.
Since the start, Precision Building Systems have focused on creating superior wall products to help make better buildings. Our team has produced wall panels for hundreds of project, from throughout the state of Michigan to as far away as South Korea.
We can produce wall panel product as well as anyone in the business, and we look forward to showing you how we can help you build better buildings with Precision Building Systems wall panels.
